The ETOBICOKE CAMERA CLUB is pleased to announce and present Nature and Landscape professional photographer, Peter Mather who hails from the far north of Canada being based in Whitehorse, Yukon Territories.
Peter’s presentation will be hosted this MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13th, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the usual meeting location of Humber Valley United Church in central Etobicoke (76 Anglesey Blvd.)
Taken from Peter’s website describing his approach to photography and story telling . . . Photography provides him with the excuse to adventure and the opportunity to tell interesting, important and inspiring stories. Through his photography he hopes to inspire us to be emphatic humans, with compassion for people we don’t understand, our natural world and many of the animals that share this small planet with us.
Peter is a fellow in the International League of Conservation Photographers and his images are represented by National Geographic Creative and Minden Pictures stock agencies. He was also honoured to be named by the Photo District News magazine to the – 2017 PDN 30 New and Emerging photographers.
Peter’s images are truly stunning and capture a rare glimpse of the colour, grandeur and awesomeness of the far North. Please join us for this extra special night.
