Reminder – Hamilton Museum of Steam Technology Sunday February 23rd

Reminder: Our outing to the Steam Museum is this Sunday, February 23rd. The Steam Museum is located at 900 Woodward Ave, Hamilton. Take the QEW over the Burlington Skyway. After crossing the skyway bridge, take the first exit to the right which is Woodward Ave. Turn left at the end of the ramp, cross over Nikola Tesla Blvd. The museum driveway is the first on the left after crossing the bridge. Google Maps says driving time from QEW/427 is roughly 40 minutes. Our booking begins at 10:30 AM. We have exclusive use of the facility until the public opening at noon. Tripods are allowed until 12 noon, but to protect the wood floors in the powerhouse (which date from 1859) please ensure that they are kept on the carpeted areas, or bring something soft to place under the legs. Our photo permit allows us to photograph for non-commercial use only. If anyone has not registered, there is still time to sign up to attend. Contact Paul at paulmcordingley@gmail.com I will collect admission at the door – as we have met the minimum number, the cost will be about $6 per person I have cc’d those who gave their email – If anyone is looking for others to carpool with, you can reply via Reply All and see who might be interested. Hope to see you there!
